Flight Centre Classic 100km MTB Marathon
This is the event that started it all! The Epic has the distinction of being the first marathon in the history of Australian cycling. The route follows the actual Bicentennial National Trail with a great variety of single track, fire roads, sealed road and farm tracks.
When: Sunday 23 August 2009
Where: Preston Peak to Peppers Hidden Vale
Categories: Elite; age groups 30 - 39; 40 - 49; 50 - 59; >60
Others: tandem, unicycle; singlespeed; 100kg plus Clydesdale
Teams: 4 person (one stage each); 2 person (50km each)
All entries include limited edition technical sports t-shirt.
