The 7th Flight Centre Cycle Epic will begin on Saturday 22 August 2009. Mark it in your calendar!
The award winning Flight Centre Cycle Epic is Australia's first and best known mountain bike marathon event. The Epic course follows a 100 kilometre course along the Bicentennial National Trail traversing the Lockyer Valley, crossing Laidley and Edwards Gaps and finishing at Hidden Vale.
All this is conveniently located a leisurely one hour drive from Brisbane city, one and a half hours from the glitter and attractions of the Gold Coast and two hours from the famous beaches of Noosa and the Sunshine Coast.
This icon event offers three distances and several categories to challenge and reward riders.
It's a hard ride that demands fitness, strength and grit - but that's the adventure.
