Peter is the event project manager for Flight Centre Cycle Epic and on race day, his role of race director ensures the Epic adheres to the strict timetable in order to maintain a safe and smooth event.
Peter has 19 years experience in the graphic arts industry and in recent years, has provided marketing support for Hair Expo Management, one of the largest hairdressing events in the world.
Before working in the graphic arts industry, Peter spent six years as an infantryman in the Royal Australian Regiment.
Peter is also a director of Tailwind Promotions Pty Ltd, an event management business. Tailwind Promotions operations have included bike safety and education, experiential cycling activities for children and adults and provided event management services for the MTBA 2007 Australian MTB Championships and 2006 Scott 24 Hour endurance race.
Peter has been an active member of the sporting community spending time on the Brisbane Water Polo Inc. board as president 1994–96 and was the mountain bike representative on the Cycling Queensland board in 2003.
